This past year, I had a chance to attend a workshop presented by Philip McKernan. It was a great workshop and highly recommendable. One of the things we worked on was answering the question of naming one person in our life that has inspired us. We were given a few minutes to decide this. I would like you to take a few minutes before reading forward on who this person may be for you? You can pick the person and make a mental note.
After completing this thought process, Philip asked the question on how many people chose themselves as the inspirational person? The room fell silent.
Why can’t you be the most inspiring person for yourself? If you were one of the people who thought of someone else’s name then my challenge to you is to think about how in 2011 you can get to a place where you inspire yourself.
