Tri-City Area

by Vishal on March 28, 2010

For eight months now, I have been investing full time in the Tri-City area (formally known at the Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge area – KWC).

I am a member of the Real Estate Investment network and for more then three years have researched the market to develop a system in Real Estate investing. Our purpose is to find and manage joint venture projects that deliver consistent cash flow and equity appreciation through investing and financing activities in the Real Estate market.

We are looking for clients that are looking to become active in Real Estate as an alternative investment strategy. We facilitate this investment process by bringing Real Estate investment research and expertise while the client provides the seed capital.

For those who do not know about the KWC area, here is some facts and interesting information:
- Approximately one hour from Toronto
- KWC population was 451,235, an increase of 8.9% from 2001 and predicted to reach 537,842 in 2014
- Due to the high levels of migration and students in the area, Kitcheners rental housing market has remained strong. Average rent for a private apartment was $800 in Oct 2008, an increase from $781 in Oct 2007. Three bedroom unit rented for $978 up from $940 in Oct 2007
- Rated as one of the most competitive regions in North America in which to do business and one of the lowest cost indexes on continent (KPMG, 2006)
- Home to University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier & Conestoga Campus
- Top employers in Waterloo include Research in Motion (6,000), Sun Life Financial (2,700) and Manulife Financial (2,400). Top employers in Cambridge include Toyota (4,500 ), Automated Tooling Systems (1,615) and Loblaw Companies Limited (1,205 )
- In July 2009, an environmental assessment had been completed on the possible of GO train line expansion, current expansion of the GO bus has already begun in Kitchener-Waterloo in October, connecting KWC with the Milton Go Station and Mississauga’s City Centre
